Has anyone had any first hand experience with treating Fibromyalgia with Reiki. The University of Washington is undertaking a Government funded study and I myself have 2 patients with this illness. It seems that doctors are so vague about it and I am looking for people with experience of treating this problem to compare notes

Hi, I'm Sharon Carrington from the Solent School of Reiki in Southampton. I have a second degree student who has been suffering from Fibromyalgia for the past 7 years.
During the second degree workshop we isolated the Hibiki causing the Fibromyalgia and removed it using SHK in isolation and the harmony Kotodama (which is a Japanese Mantra which closely mimics the energy signature of SHK).
Immediately after the session her symptoms improved and one month later she has come off drugs which she had been taking for the past 7 years. She says it's like waking up after 7 years. We have had similar success with MS and a stroke. I can put you directly in contact with all of these students if it helps with your studies.

I am a 2nd Degree reiki student and my sister has fibromyalgia. She feels WONDERFUL after reiki. She actually feels the "pain" leave her body. She usually lets out a scream when I work on her feet......it is a scream of relief that the painis leaving her body.
It is truly amazing...you must try it.

I am a Reiki Master and also suffer from Fibromyalgia for past 5 years. I am very interested in your work using Reiki in the treatment of Fibro. would it be possible for you to give me more details on the mantra that you used and the effects that it has on the symptoms? I have a number of clients with Fibro and also cancer which may find additional benefit by using these methods.

Hi Kevin, The mantra we use are the Kotodama and one specifically for fibromyalgia is the SHK Kotodama. It sounds like this...Aye...eee..aye..eeee....ki, all done on one long, deep sounding breath. We run what we call "cancer teams" and work in groups of 5 in specific positions with each of us having our own job. Some of us also do Karuna Reiki and the first two symbols are particularly useful. We have had some really top results, even some miracles, especially on the neurological side.
